About Us

Meet the innkeepers, Doyle & Diane...
 We know everyone is on a journey and as hosts here at the Old Carriage Inn, we'd like to share with you a little bit about our journey and how we came to be here.
 After selling our house, we lived in a camper for a year with plans to find a more private house somewhere in the country. In the meantime, Doyle's uncle bought the inn and asked us to manage it.
 While living in the camper, we did some traveling to a couple states and got to meet and talk to different people. In that, we became much more aware that life is about more than just our own personal lives. We can become so comfortable in our own little world, but really, life is about others, as Jesus displayed for us so perfectly.                Although managing a bed and breakfast was never part of our plans for our future, the peace we felt about doing this led us to say yes. Looking back, we see that God was preparing us for this during our time in the camper. We are so grateful for the opportunity to be here. We love serving people and hope we can provide you with a peaceful and enjoyable stay while you're here.
